The number 1 rule
Ethan informed us today that the no. 1 rule at school is "Don't eat glue." "Did you eat glue today?" I asked. "I don't want to talk about it," he said, looking at his feet. "Did it taste good?" No comment. "Are you going to eat it ever again?" "No." Yeah...I've heard that before. Boys!!!

Really? That's the number one rule. I would think that it is no hitting. Tree Monkey thinks it is "get your homework done."
